Established in 1927, the Sarasota Lawn Bowling Club is a non-profit membership-based organization that builds community and promotes health and wellness through sport and recreation among people of all ages, especially older adults.
Our mission is to promote a healthy lifestyle, foster fellowship, build community, encourage sportsmanship, and inspire excellence by growing the sport of lawn bowling locally, regionally, and nationally.
We are a 100% volunteer organization.
Our capitol needs are for building a teaching/storage building for bowls and equipment, and restroom facilities. All improvements are site approved on City of Sarasota land, at the Bobby Jones Golf Complex.
Our major operational expenses are professional greens keeping services.
